MOVIE star and former UFC light-heavyweight champion Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson has described BAMMA's upand-coming Jack McGann as a "future GOAT - Greatest of All Time".
McGann will battle Marc Diakiese for the BAMMA British Lonsdale Lightweight title at BAMMA 19 on March 28. The Liverpool youngster has made an immediate impact at the promotion after his dominant debut last December.
The 21-year-old's victory over Kayvan Fallah at BAMMA 17 has been described as a 'beat down' such was the veracity of his performance and has put him in prime position for a belt.
A student of MMA since he was 12, McGann has had a rich upbringing in the sport.
His father Anthony was one of the founders of the Wolfslair Gym which has seen the likes of Rampage and Michael Bisping pass through at one time or another.
Indeed, McGann used to give up his bed for Rampage as a youngster when the American fighter was in town.
Rampage has been talking about his knowledge of Jack McGann having known him since he was a "snotty nosed kid". And he think McGann's aggressive style is unteachable.
McGann, who has seven first round finishes, is looking to protect his unbeaten professional record against tough Ludus Magnus fighter Diakiese (6-0).
