Breaking News 8 killed in Maysan brick factory collapse.

Amara, Maysan (NINA) --Eight labors, at least, were killed and many others injured due to a collapse of an old brick factory in Maysan province (15 km) north of Amara city.

Deputy Director of Sadr Hospital in Amara Dr. Sadoun Fathi al-Alaq stated to NINA "A truck used for transporting bricks has accidently hit a wall of the factory while trying to leave a tunnel of the factory resulted in collapse of the Factory and killing eight of the labors under tunnels."

"Ambulances and civil defense vehicles hurried towards the factory to evacuate injuries and casualties," he added.

A worker at the Factory mentioned "The factory is among the oldest factories in the province." /End/
