With consumers scrambling off to work and school early each morning, who has time to prepare a hot, nutritious breakfast? Everyone, now that Minnetonka, Minn.-based Crystal Farms has introduced Crystal Farms Scrambled Egg Patties. Crystal Farms is a division of Michael Foods, Inc.

Crystal Farms Scrambled Egg Patties are fully cooked, made from real eggs, contain 5 grams of protein per serving and are ready to eat in just 60 seconds. They are packed in a 13.5-ounce resealable pouch that includes nine 1.5-ounce patties, the ideal size to fit on an English muffin or biscuit. They have a suggested retail of $2.99.

"Crystal Farms has a long track record of making great tasting, convenient egg products that are available to consumers at retail stores across the country," says Rebecca Manges, marketing manager. "We're proud to introduce our new Scrambled Egg Patties as yet another example of how we're helping consumers start their day on the right foot."

Crystal Farms has also updated its Crystal Farms Chefs Omelet frozen breakfast line, which includes Western Style, Ham & Cheddar Cheese and Three Cheese omelets. "Our omelets taste even better now that we've infused them with quality ingredients like lean ham. Crystal Farms' cheddar, Parmesan and Monterey Jack cheeses, and vegetables," says Manges. Each 8.6-ounce omelet has a suggested retail of $2.79.
