Bray's bonanza.

Byline: Michael Fortune

Ollie Bray had plenty of reason to smile at Harold's Cross on Friday night, where he had a fine double with Spell Bound winning the Track Bookmakers Puppy Dashers and racing debutante Three Star Girl scorching around in the fastest time of the night.

Spell Bound, owned jointly by Larry O'Rourke and Michael Kearney, started the favourite to win the Puppy Dashers and despite receiving a hefty bump on the turn, she reeled in the long time leader, Ellis King in the latter stages to score an impressive 28.91sec success.

The daughter of Honcho Classic looks a real prospect and she could yet be a major player in the Oaks, though she looks tailor made for the longer 550yrd trip.

Bray wasn't finished there. In the Live Mike and Riverdance 525 he unleashed a young bitch named Three Star Girl and she is definitely one for the future. Despite running wide throughout, she went on to beat Ritas Rebel by three lengths in 28.81sec. She looks like a star of the future.

Kansil O Kee justified his favourites tag in the final of the Track Bookmakers `Step Back In Time' Dual Distance. Breaking in front, the Stephen Bourke-trained charge led for the remainder to beat Group Champ by a length in a fast 31.44sec.
