Brandevor might produce Champion brew for Marriott.

A spokesperson for Brandevor Enterprises reported the company is involved in negotiations with Marriott International Corp. to produce beer under the Champions label, a trademark controlled by Marriott.

Brandevor said it agreed to test market the brew in six Champion's Sports Bars in the United States and has begun developing a marketing plan with a full-scale launch planned within 90 days.

If initial introductions are successful, the spokesperson said, the idea may be expanded throughout Marriott's network in addition to the retail market in the U.S.
