Brakes shaded in top-of-the-table duel after collecting two red cards; SOUTHERN LEAGUE PREMIER.

Poole Town?????????????????????? 1 Leamington ????????????????????? 0 NINE-men Leamington were shaded by the leaders in a game that was interrupted for repairs to a smashed floodlight in the first half.

The Brakes were trailing to a 20th-minute diving header by Marvin Brooks at that stage and suffered another blow soon after the resumption when Jack Edwards collected a second yellow card.

Tony Breedon kept the visitors in the match when he made a fine save from Lee Wort before the break but they were reduced to nine in the 75th minute when Jamie Hood saw red for handling Luke Roberts's shot. Steve Devlin's subsequent penalty was brilliantly blocked by Breedon but undermanned Brakes couldn't summon up an equaliser.
