Brakes boss strengthens squad; EVO?STIK PREMIER.

LEAMINGTON have strengthened their squad with the signing of two players over the weekend.

Manager Paul Holleran's brought left-sided midfielder Lee Chilton from Halesowen Town plus goalkeeping competition for recent recruit Nathan Vaughan in the shape of young Lewis Fenney on a dual registration.

Leamington have hit an indifferent spell of form - seven games without a win since Christmas - and slipped from top to sixth and outside the play-off spots.

Holleran said: "Lee is an attacking wide player with an eye for goal. I've tried to sign him on several occasions over recent seasons without success. But I've struck lucky this time. The lad's got pace and scores goals."

"I firmly believe he is a player who can make the step up to our level. He has the quality we need to help us out of this poor run of results.

"Lewis has a good pedigree for a young lad having previously been at Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United. He has also signed for Rushall Olympic and I am looking at him to keep Nathan on his toes."
