Bradley Smith Appointed as Head of Hewitt's U.S. Investment Group Practice.

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. -- Hewitt Associates, a global human resources services company, today announced that Bradley Smith has been named the head of Hewitt's U.S. Investment Consulting practice.

In his new role, Mr. Smith is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the U.S. Investment Consulting practice, including leading a team of experts who deliver advice to Hewitt's clients on investment strategy, portfolio structure, manager selection and other investment issues. He is also responsible for the development of thought leadership and the creation of quality investment consulting services and solutions.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Smith managed the Southeast region of Hewitt's U.S. investment consulting practice in Atlanta. With more than 19 years experience in the investment industry, he has developed investment policies and asset allocation strategies, and provided manager selection, defined contribution plan vendor selection and performance evaluation for some of the world's largest companies.

Prior to joining Hewitt, Mr. Smith was a senior consultant and practice leader for a regional investment consulting firm located in the Mid-Atlantic region, where he specialized in defined benefit and defined contribution plans. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
