Boy, 15, faces trial for rape, sex assault.

A 15-YEAR?OLD Nuneaton boy is to stand trial later this year over allegations of rape and sexual assault.

The teenager, who cannot be named because of his age, pleaded not guilty at the Crown Court in Leamington to raping a 14-year-old girl in the summer of last year.

The boy, whose father sat next to him in court, also denied six later allegations relating to a nine-year-old boy.

It is alleged he falsely imprisoned the youngster and twice attempted to rape him. He also faces charges of sexual assualt and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Prosecutor Simon Hunka told the court the teenager is also due to appear in the youth court later this month on further charges of allegedly inciting a 14-year-old boy to engage in sexual activity.

The case was adjourned for a trial which is expected to last up to seven days.

Judge Robert Orme said the earliest it could be heard at the court was in September.

He adjourned the case for a further hearing to take place in July.

The 15-year-old defendant was granted bail with a number of conditions, including a 7pm to 7am curfew and that he has no contact with any of the complainants in the case.
