Boxing: TROUBLED MIND OF IRON MIKE.

MIKE TYSON'S mental demons have led to some extraordinary outbursts over the years. Like these . . .

-"I guess I'm just crying out for help sometimes. They say 'He needs help' and I say 'Yes, that's what I've been saying for a long time'. I just need some love."

-"Who cares if I die in the ring? Nobody. I listen to these white doctors who grow beards so people take them seriously talking about me and I laugh. They don't know anything about me. They don't know my mother. They never stole a loaf of bread in their lives so what do they know? They hope I go to prison and die there. They benefit from my conduct because they can go on TV and talk about me."

-"I come across sometimes as crude and crass and bad, a Neanderthal, a babbling idiot. I like to show you that person because that's what you come to see."

-"I need to have a hiding place because I'm a weird guy. I might get angry one day and sometimes I don't want people to see that."

-"I don't know what I would do if I retired, probably just tattoo my face and have a bunch of babies. Go to court, pay thousands in support."
