Boxing: KHAN NOT LAUGHING; HARRISON v SPROTT, WEMBLEY ARENA, TONIGHT, LIVE ON ITV1 FROM 11.05PM.

Byline: By DAVID ANDERSON

AMIR KHAN is determined to prove the doubters wrong by winning the world title this year.

Khan claims he gets laughed at when he says he will be world champion when he is 21 in December and tonight's fight with Frenchman Mohammed Medjadji will be only his 11th pro contest.

But the unbeaten Olympic silver medallist said: "They also laughed at me when I said I wanted to go to the Olympics when I was 17.

"I proved those people wrong by going over to Athens and winning the silver medal and I'm going to prove them wrong again by winning the world title."
