Boxing: IN BRIEF - Haye urges rival.

BOXING: David Haye has made a last-ditch attempt to schedule a fight with WBO cruiserweight champion Enzo Maccarinelli.

The 26-year-old is prepared to forego a shot at the WBA and WBC titles for a meeting with Welshman Maccarinelli, who inherited his crown in September.

Haye's promoter Frank Maloney said: "Frank Warren (Maccarinelli's promoter) knows that David is free for one fight, to box on his show in Cardiff in April, if that is what it takes to get this fight on."
