Boxing: FLOYD BAWL OF SHAME; Ricky stands by his rock pals.

Byline: By Tom HOPKINSON

THE build-up to Ricky Hatton and Manny Pacquiao's May 2 fight has been ignited with a slanging match between the cornermen.

In Hatton's corner, Floyd Mayweather Snr labelled his counterpart Freddie Roach a joke, claiming "If anybody thinks Freddie 'Joke Coach' Roach can do a better job than me they must be sick."

Roach responded by grabbing the microphone (above) and asking: "Are you in the Hall of Fame?"

Mayweather Snr countered: "Freddie Roach is ashamed I'm not in the Hall of Fame, but when Ricky beats Manny he'll be in the Hall of Shame.

"Manny Pacquiao beat Oscar De La Hoya when he was over the hill."
