BounceBack Professional v8.0.5 introduced by CMS.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-18 July 2008-BounceBack Professional v8.0.5 introduced by CMS(C)1994-2008 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

CMS Products, Inc, a provider of data security, backup, disaster recovery and content management technologies, announced on Thursday (17 July) that BounceBack Professional Version 8.0.5 is shipping.

According to the company, the new release features the following enhancements: faster backup; creation of up to 3 source/destination backups in each Backup set; upgrade installation; easier creation and edition of Backup Sets; backing up of Outlook files; support for Microsoft's EFS encrypted files; support for UNC network paths as backup source or destination; as well as creation of large FAT32 partitions.

The software reportedly allows two ways to recover from a hard drive problem - either a physical problem or file corruption. Users may replace the computer's failed drive with the backup hard drive, or restore their system, applications and data using the CMS Products BounceBack Rescue CD, which takes longer but allows the old system disk to be re-used, if it is not physically damaged.

Version 8.0 supports Windows Vista, XP, 2000 and Apple Mac OS X operating systems, and drivers are digitally signed.

Pricing starts from GBP45 (ex. VAT) for UK purchases. Existing customers can upgrade at GBP38 (ex. VAT) but a discounted rate of GBP28 (ex. VAT) is available until 31 August, 2008 using promotional code: bbprospec49 at http://www.cmsproducts.eu. Beginning in July, 2008, the solution will ship with ABSplus automatic backup solutions.
