Bottom's up for National Assembly debate.
The Monmouth AM's rear end re-emerged yesterday when internet surfers spotted a spoof website dedicated to his posterior.
Last year, the Tory transport spokesman received admiring glances from Labour AM Alison Halford who said he had "one of the nicest bottoms I have seen for some considerable time".
In Praise of David Davies sent the subject of the Monmouth AM's rear end into cyberspace, including doctored pictures of him in various pairs of underpants.
A puzzled Mr Davies stayed cool, saying: "As the website points out, I am a former TA man and am made of sterner stuff."
Website author John Dixon, a Liberal Democrat Cardiff councillor, said the site was "a brave social experiment" to try to embarrass Liberal Democrat researcher Jessica Howard into going out with him.
In a message on the site he added: "I should have stuck to buying her chocolates."
She said: "I suppose if nothing else it is an ego boost for David Davies - not that he needs it!"
