Bottle thermometer monitors, records temperatures.

Control Co.'s Traceable Digital-Bottle Refrigerator/Freezer Thermometer accurately monitors temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators and environmental chambers with its temperature-buffered sensor. The bottle and solution insulate the sensor from rapid changes, even when the refrigerator door is opened. The solution mimics the exact temperature of samples. A stainless-steel sensor/probe assures long product life. The easy-to-read digital display shows high, low and current temperatures. The min/max feature monitors readings overnight, on weekends or for any time period--a significant advantage over glass thermometers displaying current temperature only. The entire unit, including bottle and holder, may be placed in any environment with an operating temperature range of -30 to 50.0 C (-22 to 122 F). The resolution is 0.1[degrees] with an accuracy of [+ or -] 1.0 C. The Ultra model features an accuracy of [+ or -] 0.4 C at tested points. The solid-state probe eliminates mercury thermometer contamination. It is sealed in a miniature bottle filled with GRAS solution by the FDA. It eliminates concerns about incidental contact with food or drinking water. The unit is available in four models: thermometer with GRAS solution (accuracy: [+ or -] 1.0 C); Ultra with GRAS solution (accuracy: [+ or -] 0.4 C); thermometer bottle with beads (accuracy: [+ or -] 1.0 C); Ultra (accuracy: [+ or -] 0.4 C) with beads. To assure accuracy, an individually serial numbered Traceable Certificate is provided from the company's ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA.
