Botswana,Namibia : PINETTE copper and silver leases in Kalahari Copperbelt purchased by African Copper.

A Letter of Intent is undertaken by African Copper Corporation to purchase some mineral leases in the Kalahari Copperbelt region of Botswana, Africa known as the Pinette Property.

The region where the licenses are situated has been extensively considered as an extension of the Kalahari Copperbelt or KCB which spreads from Zambia through Botswana and into Namibia. The belt is home to creating Copper mines and latest investigation undertakings to increase the zone s defined resource capacity.

The Pinette Property spreads over certain leases that cover almost 9,503 square kilometers in the center of the KCB. The property which has been recognized as a very potential copper and silver target is directly adjacent to and online with the defined copper and silver findings by numerous leading mineral makers in the area.

The Boseto Copper Mine, the most progressive project in the region is stated to host mineral resources of 207.2 Million tonnes of 1.3% copper and 16.0 grams per tonne of silver. Its ownership in recent times denied an USD 875 million acquisition proposal from a Chinese mining group.
