Boston spirit.

A volunteer with Marathon Daffodils plants daffodil bulbs in the soil on Kenmore Square in Boston. The organisation, Marathon Daffodils, gathered volunteer gardeners from Massachusetts to plant nearly 100,000 bulbs along the route of the Boston Marathon to help preserve the spirit of the Boston Marathon and Boston Strong. The bulbs planted in the fall will flower in late March and early April before the running of the 118th Boston Marathon on April 21, 2014. Kenmore Square and the famous CITGO sign landmark are exactly one mile (1.61km) from the marathon finish line, the scene of the terrorist bombing on April 15, 2013.
