Boston Security Analysts Society Partners with Kaplan Schweser to Provide CFA Exam Education.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Boston Security Analysts Society (BSAS) recently announced an exclusive agreement with Kaplan Schweser to provide live and online education for Chartered Financial Analyst([R]) (CFA([R]))exam candidates. As part of the agreement, BSAS CFA exam candidates can now benefit from a variety of discounts on Schweser/BSAS instruction and study materials.

"The CFA exam can be quite difficult, but Schweser has been highly successful in helping candidates pass CFA exams over the last 20 years," said Dr. Doug Van Eaton, CFA, Kaplan Schweser Senior Vice President of CFA Education. "Kaplan Schweser is committed to the growth of the investment profession, and our partnership with BSAS reflects our dedication to setting the industry standard for CFA exam review."

BSAS has been offering successful CFA review programs at all three levels for more than 30 years, incorporating a roster of top-notch instructors, a majority of whom are CFA charterholders. Classes are primarily taught by senior executives, portfolio managers, and analysts from the Boston investment community. "BSAS understands that each candidate has different study needs," BSAS Executive Director Jeanne Wolf said. "Joining forces with Kaplan Schweser will create a comprehensive study system for local candidates. The quality of the materials that Schweser offers is a wonderful complement to the local live instruction and the variety of products will help candidates identify what fits best in their schedules and budgets."

For investment professionals, the CFA charter is recognized as the most prestigious credential in the world. More than 139,900 candidates registered for the June 2010 exam, the largest registration for one exam cycle since the inception of the CFA Program in 1963.
