Boss banned for boozy car stunt.

A PETROL firm boss was bannedfromdrivingyesterday for weaving round a music festival site with a pal hanging on to the roof of his car.

Andrew Chrystal, 44, was over the drink-drive limit when he was seen "zig-zagging" around the car park at the Gazebo Gathering event in Kinross.

His children were standing nearbyashedrovehiscar-with the personalised plate OIL 7334 - round in circles before running off when he spotted the police.

At Perth Sheriff Court, Chrystalclaimedheshouldnot bebannedbecausehehadbeen asked to move his vehicle from the car park area by stewards.

But that was rejected by Sheriff Robert McCreadie who saidhebelievedpoliceaccounts of the events last September.

Chrystal, of Kinross, who runsafleetof12petrolcarriers, was banned for a year and fined pounds 300.
