Boris front and centre despite brush with law.

Boris Johnson fronted up after a torrid 24 hours that saw police called to his flat over a domestic row.

He happily posed for pictures ahead of a hustings event in the West Midlands - even if he was staying tight-lipped over a late-night argument ? Brash - Pages 6&7 with his girlfriend inside his flat. Mr Johnson faced off against Jeremy Hunt at Birmingham's ICC in the first of 16 hustings events over the course of the next three weeks, with the party to elect a new leader late next month. And it was the former Foreign Secretary's personal life that came under closest scrutiny. Mr Johnson repeatedly refused to answer questions about the incident, telling the audience: "I don't think they want to hear about that kind of thing."
