Boost for law firm.

SOUTH Wales law firm Leo Abse & Cohen has received a boost to its services following an accreditation success in its family law department.

James Fawcett, an assistant solicitor in the department, has become one of the first legal professionals in Wales to become an Advanced Member of the Law Society's Family Law Panel.

Part of the Leo Abse & Cohen team for five years, James achieved his new status following an assessment process which started in November 2001.

Barry-born James is one of the first people to pass the new assessment, which is only open to existing family law panel members.
