TOMORROW looks like being another tough day for Southampton as in-form Spurs visit.
The betting odds reflect that with 188BET offering the Saints win at a lumpy 22-5. The draw is 29-10 while it is just 4-6 for the Spurs away.
The reality for the Saints is Spurs have an excellent record when they travel to teams in the bottom six, winning to nil in five of their last seven trips.
They've also won to nil in their last two away matches and Mauricio Pochettino is 15-8 to win with a clean sheet against his former club.
Spurs have also been winning at half-time and full-time in six of their last eight matches so a HT/FT bet of Spurs/ Spurs could be fruitful at 6-4. While Southampton have beaten Spurs just once in 11 matches since their 2012 return to the Premier League, they have scored in eight of them and it is 5-6 for both teams to score.
At 188BET we have enhanced the price of the Spurs win with both teams scoring from 47-20 to 27-100.
That would be an extra PS7 profit on a PS20 stake. Southampton have only conceded more than two goals in a game at St Mary's once in their last 16. So if the Saints can keep Harry Kane et al to two goals or less, as they have with the majority of visitors, a 2-0 Tottenham win is 7-1 and the 2-1 correct score in Spurs' favour is around the same odds.
We have also price boosted the 3-0 Spurs win from just under 13-1 to 16-1. With Man City having already wrapped up the Premier League title the relegation battle will be where the action lies.
Swansea look doomed at 1-5 with West Brom likely to go down with them at evens.
Stoke are 8-5 to make up the three with newcomers Huddersfield and Brighton 7-4 to go straight back down. Southampton are 5-1 but should escape.
