Horrid Henry's Joke Book by Francesca Simon. Sonia explains: "The combination of Horrid Henry and a book full of jokes is an unbeatable combination for alleviating boredom on forthcoming car journeys."

HAVE you read Horrid Henry's Joke Book?

Well, it's too rude for parents, it's frightening for parents and it's scary for parents!!! Don't tell your parents how rude it is will you? - Or they might not let you read it! Here are some examples of the jokes that I enjoyed.

`What happens when you sit under a cow? You get a pat on your head!'

They were lots of very funny jokes and most of them are good. I really like this one too,

`Why did the golfer wear 2 pairs of under pants? Just in case he got a hole in one!!!!'

I like the way it plays with words: Reviewed by Charlotte

I THOUGHT Horrid Henry's Joke Book was great because it had a lot of funny jokes, for example `Why was Cinderella knocked out of the football team? She kept running away from the ball!' I really liked it, but still I prefer proper stories. The book is full of jokes (most are very funny) and it is organised into what the jokes are about. I think this book would be suitable for 8-12 year olds, because some jokes are quite rude!!! I also think the book is more suitable for boys than girls because some jokes are disgusting!: Reviewed by India,

I'D SAY this book is the best book of its genre. It's got funny jokes in and it's really enjoyable.I think it is suitable for ages 6+. The book has got titles for each section, for example `Moody Margaret's Knock Knock Jokes' and `Jokes not to be told to Aunties'. It's well laid out and is really easy to read. Every child should have a copy of the book!!: Reviewed by James Lavy

THESE are Horrid Henry's very own jokes - read on if you dare! It will gross out your parents. it will make your aunt run home and it will send your teacher screaming out of the classroom! Oh and it's too rude for parents! Make yourself horrid by reading these jokes and telling them to the world! For an example What do you get if you pour hot water down a rabbit hole? Hot cross bunnies!

In fact this book is so good you won't want to go to school or downstairs for tea. Trust me, get the book, read the jokes, tell the jokes and remember ( it's too rude for parents!!: Reviewed by Elizabeth Sommerville

HORRID Henry's Joke Book is one of the best books I've read because it's got really funny jokes in! My favourite jokes were ones with Aunt Ruby in because my name is Ruby. The ones I didn't like were the ones I didn't get! It's suitable for 8-12 years of age. Not suitable for adults!:Reviewed by Ruby Sinclair.
