Bond comes out shooting; BAFTAS: New OO7 joins Queen in race for award honours.

THIS year's Bafta film nominations were announced in London today with Dame Helen Mirren's drama The Queen featuring in many categories.

Other leading contenders for best film are Martin Scorsese's The Departed, Babel, The Last King of Scotland and Little Miss Sunshine.

But the new look James Bond blockbuster Casino Royale, starring Daniel Craig, is also tipped for honours as the outstanding British film of the year and as best actor.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London, on February 11. Nomination highlights include:
