Bona fide tale.

REGARDING two of your readers being concerned about the skull and cross bones at the foot of a cross: I found a cross in the early 1950s in a house I'd just moved into.

I took it to Father Felix, a Franciscan Priest in St Mary of the Angels in Fox Street. He told me that where Jesus was crucified on Calvary they found the bones of Adam. Mount Calvary is also known as Golgotha, meaning the place of the skull.
