Boeing signs new agreement with KLM E&M.

A new agreement has been signed between KLM Engineering and Maintenance (KLM E&M) and Boeing Co, the US aircraft manufacturer, for the Dutch company to be a launch customer for Boeing's Global Airline Inventory Network.

The Global Airline Inventory Network is a value-added service under which Boeing will manage the supply chain for expendable airframe spare parts. The programme will initially involve Boeing parts and will expand to include other standard and vendor parts.

KLM E&M provides maintenance, repair and overhaul services for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
