Boeing elects retired Marine Corps General to its board.
Retired Marine Corps General James L. Jones has been elected to the Boeing (NYSE: BA) board of directors, effective immediately.
Gen. Jones is reportedly the former Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and Commander of the United States European Command, and is currently president and CEO of the Institute for 21st Century Energy, an affiliate of the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC.
The election of Gen. Jones brings the total number of members on the Boeing board to eleven.
