Body of a 44-year old man recovered.

PESHAWAR -- An unidentified body of a 44-year old man was recovered in the jurisdiction of Bana Mari Police Station on Wednesday.

Police sources said that they received information that a body was placed near a CNG pump situated on Ring Road who was killed by unidentified individuals. On receiving the information cops reached to spot and took the body in their custody and shifted the deceased to city morgue for postmortem.

Local police said that the body was not identified yet, adding that no sign of violence were seen on the body and they were not cleared that how the deceased was killed. Police informed that after the postmortem report they will be able to know that how his assassination took place.

Meanwhile, another body of a man was recovered who was shot dead by unidentified armed men and threw his body on Frontier Road in Budhber.

Police said that they were on its routine patrolling when see a body placed on Frontier Road, adding that they shifted the deceased to city morgue for postmortem. Cops added that later the deceased was identified as Captan son of Misal Khan Gul Din Khel.

Cops handed over the body to his heirs after postmortem and registered case against unidentified armed men. Meanwhile, unidentified miscreants hurled a hand grenade on house of one Shafiq situated in the jurisdiction of Chamkani Police Station.

Police sources said that unidentified miscreants hurled hand grenade on house of one Shafiq which exploded with big bang, however, fortunately, no one was present at sight of blast. Due to explosion boundary walls of house were partially damaged, however, no causality was reported.

It is mentioned that extortionists did such attacks on houses of their victims and around each and every day in provincial capital such incidents were reported but no one was arrested in this regards.

City police were also seen helpless in this regards. Meanwhile, a head constable was arrested allegedly involved in rape with 13-year old minor girl in the limits of Kotwali Police Station.

Police sources said that three days ago mother of victim girl informed police that head constable Tariq along with another accomplice Irfan raped her daughter, however, after the incident police on Wednesday arrested the head constable Tariq who was nominated by girl and further investigation in this regards has been under way.

Police informed that the medical report was not received to them but the minor girl said in her statement and identify head constable Tariq and Irfan in court that they raped her.
