Bobo's pay KO'd; CELTIC ON TOUR...

WOLVES boss Mick McCarthy has told Bobo Balde he can't afford to end his Celtic misery.

The Molineux manager has declared an interest in the unwanted Parkhead defender who has been told he can leave the Hoops on a free transfer.

Balde has one year left on his current pounds 32,000-a-week deal in Glasgow and McCarthy insists he can't push the boat out that far.

The Wolves boss said: "He has always been someone I've liked because he is a big, powerful centre-half.

"But we don't pay that kind of money, we're not in that pay league. I haven't pursued it any further but I have registered my interest."
