Board to review meeting schedule.

The feasibility and possible benefits of changing the board meeting schedule from six face-to-face meetings annually to four face-to-face plus three conference call meetings was discussed. NZNO rules state the board must meet at least once every two months. Holding a teleconference during that period would also meet those rules, said chief executive Geoff Annals. After much discussion about how long meetings should be and whether the number of face-to-face meetings could be reduced, the board decided a rule remit should be drafted and presented to NZNO conference to enable it to meet three-monthly, should this be decided in the future.
