Kevin Teeman came home with one team title and another individual award at Paralyzed Veterans of America's Bluegrass Bass Bash fishing tournament in early May on Lake Barkley in Kuttawa, Ky.
Teeman (Fort Smith, Ark.) and Marcus Murray (Indianapolis) took the team bank competition, catching 10.21 pounds, defeating Michael Murphy (Shelbyville, Ky.) and Rose Ganz (Arnold, Mo.) by 1.45 pounds. Teeman also finished as the Lunker Award winner, recording the biggest catch at 1.85 pounds.
Gary Holland (Oklahoma City) won the individual bank competition. He totaled 7.64 pounds, defeating Teeman by 3.84 pounds. Teeman didn't finish empty-handed there, though, earning the Big Fish Award with his 1.64-pound catch.
Arthur Hunt (Harrisburg, Ill.) and Gary Jones (Clay, Ky.) captured the open competition. They finished with 5.95 pounds, defeating Russell Bridges (Louisville, Ky.) and Tracy Meyers (Madisonville, Ky.) by just .13 pounds. Angler Kenneth Carter (Enterprise, Fla.) finished as the Lunker Award winner, with his 4.05-pound catch.
Angler Mark Singer (Ashland City, Tenn.) and boat partner Blake Albertson (Bloomington, Ind.) won the team competition, catching five fish totaling 14.21 pounds. They nearly doubled up anglers Joe Santiago (Stafford, Va.) and Lynn Turner (Madisonville, Ky.), who caught three fish and finished with 7.86 pounds. Hunt finished as the Lunker Award winner with a 4.59-pound catch.
