Blue Ball Lions roar to top of table; Darts.
The 'Lions' are now six points clear of Spot On MP, who whitewashed the Royal Oak Bluemoon Foxes, and eight clear of Bottom Railway BA but they have played a game more than their challengers. Jay O'Brien hit his third maximum of the season for the Royal Oak Shooters as they beat local rivals Royal Oak DP 7-2, for whom Gaz Smith hit his second maximum, and Dan Jones also hit his third maximum as his Boat House Tap Tappers side beat the Three Nuns Left Footers 6-3. In Wanty's Division Two, the Black Swan Gatecrashers beat the Bell Foundry Blue Army 5-4 to remain top, and second place Tap and Mallet JB beat third place Unicorn AW by the same score to widen the gap between the two to six points. However Three Crowns Ghostbusters are still not out of contention after their 8-1 win against the Arena Gladiators as they have several games in hand on the front runners.
In S H Cox Division Three the Peacock Rockers and Three Nuns Exiles are once again tied in the lead after their wins against Spot On Guy 'n' Gals and Tap and Mallet CD respectively. Peacock'Rocker' Sam Worthington hit his sixth maximum of the season to take the outright lead in the race for the trophy for the most maximums in the season in Division's two to six.
In Generous Briton Division Four Crown Rejects beat new leaders Richmond Jukeboxers 5-4, and Plough B beat the Peacock Feathers by the same score. OEG Dad's Army also had a good 7-2 win against the Dewdrop Blues.
In Navigation Division Five Blue Ball CS beat leaders Bottom Railway Leftovers 5-4 to cut their lead over second place Crown Jewels to twelve points. Tap and Clapper Rojo's beat the Windmill Wild Hearts 6-3 and they remain in third place with Blue Ball CS now fourth.
Finally in Jim Kidger Division Six, Blue Ball MS remain top despite losing 5-4 to second place Black Swan B&W, and Top Railway One Bad Apple had an excellent 8-1 win against Crown KM to move up to third. At the bottom of the division the Royal Oak Oakers won for the second time this season as they beat the Arena Savvies 5-4.
