Blaze need fan support to give Devils a grilling; FACE OFF with Greg Owen.

I GET the feeling we're finding our feet a little bit now. Another decent weekend, although it saw any hopes we had of progressing in the Challenge Cup disappear for the third year running.

Not sure how to explain the lack of form in this competition but all I can say is that it's a very tough group to get through.

There's always going to be at least two very good teams that don't even go through. After a lacklustre start in Hull on Saturday we fell 2-0 after two periods. We managed to bring it back for a tie but it wasn't a performance to really take anything away from other than the fact we scored on a 5-3, which we needed for some confidence on the powerplay which seems to be more of a hindrance for us than a weapon at the moment.

Dundee were not to be taken lightly and even after dominating them for most of the game, we found ourselves tied after two periods. We really did start to sink to their level and we let them compete for a game that they really had no business winning. Again, it was our powerplay that hurt us.

Even though we scored a couple of goals on the powerplay, it was responsible for the goal that evened up the score. We just need to keep working away.

The boys were really happy for Woo-Sang getting his first goal for the Blaze. He's slotted in to things really well and the guys have been really welcoming. You guys were great too, giving him the love of a seasoned fan favourite. Keep it up, you'll be key in helping him adjust to his new surroundings.

Sad to see Robert Farmer out with injury, he's been a key player for us and we'll miss him in the line-up.

He's never had an injury before so it's important for him to stay upbeat and positive through it. I guess us wounded old dogs will have to support him through it.

That being said, at that age you still bounce when you fall so he'll be back before you know it. Rock the Skydome for our tough weekend against Cardiff. Be hostile!
