Blasties blast back with 3-goal salvo.

Kilbirnie Ladeside 3 Beith 3 KILBIRNIE fought back from three down to force a Junior Cup replay with bitter rivals Beith.

The reigning Premier champions opened the scoring when Brian McKeown calmly slotted beyond Blasties keeper Paul McCann inside two minutes.

McCann then spilled an effort from John Craig to allow Martin McGarvey to net a second.

Craig volleyed the third high into the net in 38 minutes but Kilbirnie striker James Marks pulled one back from the edge of the box right on half-time.

Alain Kinney headed home Ladeside's second before Kilbirnie were awarded a penalty when Peter McMahon was brought down in the box 17 minutes from time.

Kinney stepped up and made no mistake from the spot.
