Blandin roaches agreement with union.

Teamsters Local 346 representing the hourly employees at the UPM-Kymmene Blandin Paper Mill in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, USA, voted on February 6 to ratify a six-year labor contract with the company. Unofficial reports indicate a large majority ratified the contract. Joe Maher, general manager and senior vice president of UPM-Kymmene. Blandin Paper Mill, said, "'These negotiations have been very difficult tot everyone involved The company took no pleasure in asking employees for sacrifices required by the state of our industry and the business climate today"
