Bland and flippant; LETTERS.

I AM not a fan of the new Morning Line format. Anyone who watches it at such an early hour does not need a hitchhiker's guide to betting or a Big Mac rant that lacks balance.

Having a rugby player like Matt Dawson doing a trip to Paul Nicholls is like Mick Fitzgerald going to an England rugby training camp.

At a time of Racing For Change this flagship programme needs to be sharp and incisive, not bland and flippant. But then I come from Ireland, where the all-weather track is closed for months in midwinter.

People will turn off in droves at the current dross.
