Bitten by the love bug.

YOUNGSTERS have been turning waste into muchloved trinkets thanks to a special arts and crafts event.

Around 20 children took part in the event hosted by Crow Recycling last week.

During their visit to the Hillfields-based charity, youngsters were able to make Valentine's Day themed "Love Bugs" to give to loved ones.

Crow Recycling is a charity which collects safe, clean business waste for local organisations and works with children and young people to turn it into art, craft, play and educational resources.

The charity's next "Monthly Make" event will be held at the Sparkbrook Street venue on Tuesday, March 4, and will cost PS1 with refreshments included.

The Monthly Make events run throughout the year and are suitable for youngsters of all ages, including pre-school children.

For more information on its events, visit Crow Recycling's website at, or call 024 7655 2444.
