Bite Back; ULTIMATE PRIZE FOR ILLUSION.
They silenced their rivals and knocked 'em dead at the finals of our Dance for Life contest...
And beat off tough opposition from finalists Nitra Vision, ML1, Sociopaths and Skilaz.
Judges Scott Brown and Gillian Tennant, of Q-Tex, DJs George Bowie, Tom Wilson and Mark Stuart, and myself had a tough time picking the winner.
Scott said: "The standard was so high it gives me confidence in the Scottish dance scene.
"I'll need to get a demo tape of them all and see if I can release them on my own record label."
The Edinburgh band's fast-talking rapper MC Bad Boy was stunned when Scott announced they had won. He said: "I knew we had the ability to do it but didn't think we had done well enough when I saw the other bands.
"But you've got to have faith and that's what got us through."
However, that wasn't the only point to the evening. There was also a positive anti- drugs message and Ultimate Illusion had strong views on that.
Keyboards man Lee Witherspoon said: "You don't need drugs. Get into the music - it's the only drug."
Sexy singer Amanda Gent said: "For once we are doing it right by using the music to get the message across."
The Fubar, Stirling, where the final was held, have asked the winners back to play on its prestige Christmas night.
It was one big happy birthday for Amanda, who had just turned 19 as the results were announced.
