Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart bypass road crashed within 3 years since its construction, MP claims.

A number of Kyrgyzstani roads of international importance have undergone major overhaul over the past 5-10 years, said MP Akylbek Jamangulov (Respublika-Ata-Jurt) at a parliamentary meeting on March 1.

A major overhaul of Bishkek street roads has been done on a Chinese grant, he reminded.

However, the quality of roads is very poor, said the MP bringing the Bishkek roads as an example, where a number of roads were repaired last year, and need anew repairs again this spring.

"Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart bypass road is dismantled, but it hasn't been even 3 years since its construction. They must check very carefully when the construction is completed and the road is commissioned," said MP.

"It's been two years but the reconstruction of Balykchy-Korumdu road is still not complete, and this year we will host the World Nomad Games," Jamangulov said with outrage.
