Bishkek hosts first Central Asian seminar on first aid.

Bishkek hosts the first Central Asian seminar on first aid on Oct 15-16, the Red Crescent Society of Kyrgyzstan said.

The participants of the seminal will exchange experience and knowledge in providing first aid.

Representatives and specialists from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the European Region and Central Asia, representatives of the German and Italian Red Cross in Kyrgyzstan and the Red Crescent Society of Turkey are in attendance.

First aid training, strengthening of national legislation, involvement of state bodies in teaching the population first aid skills, development and promotion of a legal framework for first aid are the main topics of discussion.
