Birthday present; out andABOUT.

A NORTH Wales horse rescue sanctuary has been awarded pounds 1,000 by the CLA Charitable Trust.

The money will provide educational equipment for the HACK Sanctuary at Rossett, Wrexham, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in March.

Founder Pamela Bluck, who runs the facility with son, Peter, and 12 volunteers, said the cash would be used to buy a white board, projector and screen.

Last year the CLA Charitable Trust donated more than pounds 50,000 to projects that promote access to, and education about, the countryside.
