Birch Bay Music Festival to benefit WeSNIP.

Snip Fest, the first annual Birch Bay Music Festival to benefit the Whatcom Educational Spay Neuter Impact Program (WeSNIP), will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., August 6.

The festival will feature a list of performers, food vendors and a beer garden, and can be found at the corner of Alderson and Birch Bay Drive. Local merchants have also donated items for a silent auction.

Musical guests include Kit Nelson, James Higgins and the Muddy Boots, Bear Cove, Rebekah Ann Curtis, Pawn Broker, Patsy Thompson, Olio, Brittany Myers and KONG.

WeSNIP is a nonprofit program that provides low-cost spaying and neutering services to low income and public assistance residents of Whatcom and Skagit counties. For more information, call (360) 733-6549 or visit wesnip.org.
