Billy Sloan: We're happy to help Hue out.

Byline: Billy Sloan

SCOTS pop duo Hue And Cry have come out of hibernation for a good cause.

The group will join Deacon Blue, Karen Matheson and Elaine C. Smith in a special gig at the Royal Concert Hall in Glasgow on May 27.

The duo Pat and Greg Kane want to help raise cash for the children's charity Enable.

Enable provide friends and helpers for children with learning difficulties. One of their pals is Deacon Blue lead singer Lorraine McIntosh.

Meanwhile, reggae legend Jimmy Cliff has confirmed a rare Scottish date at the Carling Academy, Glasgow, on July 7.

He will perform his classic hits including The Harder They Come and Wild World.
