Billie Joe Armstrong 'booted off plane for wearing trousers too low'.

Washington, Sept 4 (ANI): Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong was allegedly not allowed to take a flight because he wore his trousers too low.

The 39-year-old American rock musician sent a message to his Twitter followers expressing his annoyance at being kicked off from an Oakland-to Burbank flight because of his trousers, CBS News reported.

An ABC7 news producer, Cindy Qiu, who was on the same flight said the flight attendant approached the vocalist before take-off and asked him to pull his trousers up.

Qiu also said that when Armstrong insisted he was just trying to get to his seat, he and a travelling companion were taken off the plane.

However, a Southwest spokesperson Brad Hawkins said that he was later allowed to board the next flight. (ANI)
