Bill 'throws a wobbly with fan phones'.

ACTOR Bill Murray has offered to pay for mobile phones he reportedly threw from a rooftop bar.

Murray, 65, grabbed the phones when fans snapped him at a restaurant, according to reports.

It is understood two handsets were lost while another landed safely on a cushion.

The alleged incident occurred at a party hosted by singer Justin Timberlake, at the Vesuvio restaurant in Carmel, California.

The restaurant owner said: "The flashes were going off only 10ft away from Bill and he got so angry he got up and chucked their phones off the rooftop."

Police commander Paul Tomasi said the Groundhog Day and Ghostbusters star would not be charged.

He said: "He is willing to replace the property that was damaged."
