Bike thief caught on camera.

FOOTAGE of the moment a cycle thief steals a bike at Thornaby train station has been released The theft took place on Saturday, March 2, at around 3.40pm.

The victim, a 23-year-old man from Stockton, secured his bike in the cycle rack at the station in the morning before work.

When he finished work later that day and returned to collect his bike, he discovered it had been stolen.

The stolen bike is a white, Cube Peloton racing bike, with clip-on pedals.

Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40.
