Bike stolen in Street.

SOUTH SHIELDS: A BIKE worth PS500 was stolen from a street in South Tyneside.

It happened at 6.45pm on Saturday, at Dean Road in South Shields when the offender ran along the road and stole a bike, making off on along Chichester Road and into Darras Court Estate.

The bike is a black and silver Giant XTC. It''s black at the front and silver to grey at the rear, with a black light on the front and two large white mudguards.

It has Giant XTC written on the frame, carbon fibre grips and 'Race Face'' written on the handlebars in red writing. It also has a white saddle. Anyone with information, ring 101.
