Biggs off to 'final' home; TRANSFER.

GREAT Train robber Ronnie Biggs was moved to a nursing home yesterday, 11 days after being freed on compassionate grounds.

Biggs, 80, who has chronic pneumonia, was transferred from hospital in Norfolk to his "final home" in Barnet, North London, by private ambulance. He was accompanied by son Michael, 35.

An onlooker said: "He looked very sick, but still managed a smile and a wave for the nurses."

Biggs served a third of his 30-year sentence.
