Big plans are in place for Lubriderm brand.
NEW YORK -- Johnson & Johnson Consumer Product Co.'s Lubriderm brand is poised to launch several new items, a new advertising campaign and a redesigned web site.
In the first half of 2008 Lubriderm introduced two new products. Intense Skin Repair Calming Relief Body Lotion is specially formulated to soothe and moisturize itchy, dry skin, while Advanced Therapy Triple Smoothing Body Lotion is formulated with alpha hydroxy acid to help smooth skin in three ways: gently exfoliating flaxy skin, helping to improve cell turnover; smoothing the appearance of rough skin; and moisturizing for 24 hours.
Lubriderm also recently unveiled a new "Skin Therapist" advertising campaign. The brand is positioning itself as the legitimate "voice" of healthy skin, offering advice on how to solve skin care problems.
The company just debuted a Skin Therapist television ad, and print ads will run in December.
Lubriderm's momentum will continue into 2009 with several new product launches and the introduction of new packaging for the entire line.
